However, the presence of ghosts during the game requires players to work together to pacify them. The goal is for players to collectively reach a pre-determined number of points by the time they have placed all the available land tiles. If there are too many ghosts on the board or the players are unable to draw any more tiles, they have lost the game.

To succeed, players must show each other their tiles and decide as a team where to place them, especially in the later levels where cooperation is essential. Working together, they need to strategically place tiles to keep the ghosts in check, contain haunted ground in cemeteries, and utilize haunted castles to their advantage.
