The Power Grid: Brazil/Spain & Portugal Expansion offers two new maps that provide fresh challenges for players of the popular Power Grid game. This expansion comes in its own box, allowing players to conveniently store their other Power Grid map expansions.

The Brazil map presents scarce resources and large connection costs, creating a more challenging game environment. In this map, power providers prefer to use biogas for electricity production, so players should consider the garbage power plants as biogas-fired power plants and the garbage resources as biogas tanks.

The Spain & Portugal map, on the other hand, introduces a rapid expansion of nuclear and ecological power. Players who want to stay competitive will need to branch out from fossil fuels. In this map, uranium becomes much more important than in other Power Grid games, though not at the beginning. The resource market will not receive any new uranium during the first step, but the supplies of uranium increase rapidly in the second step. Simultaneously, three large wind-power plants enter the market, creating a clash of interests that adds to the strategic depth of the game.

This expansion is suitable for 2-6 players aged 14 and above, providing a fresh and engaging experience for both new and experienced Power Grid enthusiasts.
