Dominion Expansion - Allies

Dominion Allies, the 14th Expansion to the Game of the Year 2009, is a celebration of peace and unity. The streets are no longer soaked in red blood, but instead, the normal color prevails. The negotiations with the barbarians from the north were difficult, as they exhibited rude behaviors, such as spreading the wrong finger when drinking tea and burping before eating. However, the alliance has brought about benefits for both parties.

The barbarians have provided skulls from which the players can drink mead, as well as spices to help rid the nasty aftertaste. In return, the players have given the barbarians forks, mirrors, and trousers, creating a win-win situation. With the deal sealed, the players can now focus on their other neighbors, aiming to secure alliances with them as well.

Allies is the 14th Dominion expansion and can only be played with a full base game or the base cards. The game can be combined with all Dominion expansions, bringing a total of 400 new cards, including the new Allies card type. These Allies cards allow players to redeem favors they have purchased through Kingdom cards.

Included in the expansion are trays and metal markers, as well as separators for the separately available collector's box. The game is suitable for 2 to 4 players aged 13 and up.
