You are a monarch, much like your parents before you, ruling over a small, pleasant kingdom filled with rivers and evergreens. Unlike your predecessors, however, you harbor hopes and dreams. You aspire to build a larger and more delightful kingdom, one with more rivers and a greater variety of trees. You desire to establish a Dominion.

In all directions, you see fiefs, freeholds, and feodum – small parcels of land controlled by petty lords, teetering on the brink of anarchy. Your mission is to bring civilization to these people, uniting them under your banner. But wait, it seems you are not alone in this endeavor. Several other monarchs have had the very same idea. You must now race to claim as much of the unclaimed land as possible, fending off your rivals in the process.

To achieve your goals, you will hire minions, construct buildings, spruce up your castle, and fill the coffers of your treasury. While your parents may not be proud, your grandparents would undoubtedly be delighted.

The 2nd Edition of Dominion features updated cards, artwork, and streamlined rules, making it an even more engaging and enjoyable experience. It is a tactical game designed for 2-4 players, with a playing time of approximately 30 minutes.
