Power Grid: First Sparks

As the clan leader, you are responsible for the well-being of your clan during the Stone Age. To succeed, you need to develop new hunting technologies and acquire new knowledge to hunt food effectively and learn to control fire. With the help of these skills, you can harvest enough food to feed your clan and expand to reach new hunting areas.

In this game, you are constantly faced with various decisions: which technology cards offer the biggest advantages, when is the right time to spread your clan on the game board, and which hunting areas will provide the most food? Reaching new hunting areas or trying to secure parts of the game board for your clan are crucial factors for your strategy. Settling in empty spaces is more cost-effective for your clan compared to areas where other clans have already established themselves.

The objective is to be the first to increase your clan size to 13 members, and you will win The First Sparks. This standalone game is part of the Power Grid family and is designed for 3-6 players, with a playtime of 60-90 minutes.
